Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course Begins September 2 at the Providence Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad Building on Route 60 just east of Providence Forge. Sponsored by PFVRS. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 10 pm and will run until December. The course covers everything from delivering a baby to handling major trauma to taking care of the common cold. The cost of the course is $25. Call PFVRS at 966-2801 after August 1 to register.  Applicants must have a current Professional CPR certification prior to the start of the class.
