The New Kent Historical Society helps to conserve and promote our unique historical resources.  The new headquarters of the Society, at the old brick County jail, is our office, research library, and museum.  Collections, documents, photographs and artifacts are being gathered for historical research and preservation.  Displays of historical interest and of special times in our history are being created in public buildings and at the old jail.

Your membership and support will help to achieve these goals.

Benefits of membership include:

  • Notices of meetings, usually held at historical sites
  • Invitations to special events
  • And much more
