March 16, 17, 18 World Wars I and II New Kent Commemoration at the Historic New Kent Courthouse.  March 16&17: 8 am to 3 pm; March 18: 9 am to 3 pm.  Sponsored by the New Kent Historic Commission. Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the start of US involvement in World War II and the 100th Anniversary of the start of US involvement in World War I.   The event will include an interactive mobile exhibit and inside displays.  The public is welcome.  On Saturday, March 18, a special program, beginning at 11 am, will honor New Kent World War II veterans.
