December 19 Last Day that the New Kent Historical Society History Center will be Open Until Spring  The New Kent History Center at the old jail at New Kent Courthouse is open every Monday from 10 am to 2 pm for research.  It will be closed for the Winter months and will open again on Monday, March 6, 2017.

The New Kent Christmas Mother needs help finding individuals, families, or businesses who might be interested in sponsoring a New Kent Christmas Mother angel or a family.  Sponsoring a child or family means you will be given a list of what the child needs/wants as well as clothing sizes, and you will purchase Christmas gifts for the child/children.
