May 27 Civil Rights in the 21st Century and Beyond 2 – 5 pm at New Kent High School Auditorium, 7901 Egypt Road, New Kent, VA  23124.  This is the culminating event for the 50th Anniversary for commemoration of Supreme Court of the United States decision in Charles C. Green, et al v County School Board of New Kent County, Virginia, et al. A short film on the Green decision is followed by a panel discussion on “Civil Rights in the 21st Century and Beyond,” moderated by Dr. Jody Allen of the College of William and Mary.
