Beautiful Freshly Cut Fraser Fir Trees.  Starting at $40.  Pick the right tree for your home.  Sponsored by the Rotary Club of New Kent.  Fridays: 3 to 5 pm,  Saturdays: 10 am to 5 pm, and Sundays: noon to 5 pm.

November 26 Jingle Bell Jog 2:30 check in; 3:30 pm Jog begins at the New Kent County Courthouse and school. $10 per person.  One mile run.  Long sleeved T-shirt, Jingle bell bracelet, Hot Chocolate at the Community Tree lighting. Registration. Sponsored by New Kent Parks and Recreation.

December 2 Quinton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Breakfast with Santa (New Kent Station 2)  8 to 11 am at the fire house, 5251 New Kent Hwy (Rt. 249)  Come enjoy a pancake breakfast with Santa at the Station!

County School Board of New Kent County, Virginia, et al", the most significant public school desegregation decision by the United States Supreme Court decided after Brown v. Board of Education, changing the practice of school systems throughout he nation.
