October 11, 18, 25 - “New Kent History Tour” New Kent history class at Rappahannock Community College, New Kent Campus at New Kent Courthouse 1 to 3 pm.  Taught by LaVonne Allen. Tour Cedar Lane, Cedar Grove, Iden, Emmaus Church and the old courthouse. Walk the old wagon trail and visit the museum and greet a mystery guest.

October 18, 21, 24 New Kent Christmas Mother Interviews in the Corinth Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at New Kent Courthouse.  November 5 New Kent Salute to Veterans (Roll of Honor) 10 am to 3 pm at the gym of the historic 1930 New Kent High School at New Kent Courthouse.  In recognition of Veteran's Day, names, picture, uniforms and more will be on display from all American conflicts.  If you have pictures or uniforms to display contact or call 804-966-8587.  Items used in the display will be returned to the owner after Nov. 8.  Sponsored by the New Kent Historical Society.
